Purnendu Mehta:
Respected all vaidya guru plz suggest treatment for hyponitremia.
Low sodium.

Patient suffering from acetabulam # wt one rib too
H/o dm ht age 79/M .
.

Vd.Saraswathi Sharma. K:
Is hyponatremia a coincidental discovery or did the pt slip into coma

As per reports the renal parameters are more of concern.

Hyponatremia can be easily corrected with increasing intake of salt. But it needs to be advocated with caution if he's htnsive or has any other conditions which require salt restriction. At the same time seems like a case of renal failure. Need further inputs to assess it's stage and Management

Does he have fractures now or earlier history. What was the cause of fractures

Purnendu Mehta:
# due to fall due to low N+ at night time 5 days back

Vd.Saraswathi Sharma. K:
General health condition?. Other medical problems?

Purnendu Mehta:
Patient had chiken gunia tipe v.in 2007. Since then he never recovered from hyponitremia allways having n+ leval around 120.

Vd.Saraswathi Sharma. K:
DM, HTN,CAD etc. Thyroid status. What's the blood urea level. Since how long anaemic? Did you notice any significant decrease in urine output in recent months. Any history of diarrhea etc recently. Any oedema of body parts like swollen legs or puffiness of face etc. PL give all relevant details.

Hyponatremia is just a minor part of the whole picture from what I understand from the reports.

What did you give for chikan gunya

Request the senior Vaidyas to kindly share your experiences in acute pain management. Anubhuta yogas or with textual references, type of pain, medicine and mode of administration and duration needed for relief. Thank you
